The earlist visitors to the idyllwild inn arrived by horse and buggy. Located in the heart of the village that has grown up around it, the mountains first inn has maintained the historic feel of its cabins and mountains and theme rooms, some of which date back as far as 1910. All have great fireplaces, some wwith mantels hard carved by the sculptor of idyllwilds famous free monument.
